Louis Van Gaal`s "Told You So" Stare | Chicharito

The Stare

A picture paints a thousand words, so imagine how many words a video paints!
What it means...

I am going out on a limb with this assumption but...
Last season, Chicharito was loaned out to Real Madrid and they had a view to buy if he impressed. The reasoning behind this was because Manchester United had too many world class strikers. The strikers at the time were, Rooney, Van Persie, Welbeck, Falcao and the young James Wilson.

I feel that Giggsy persuaded Louis Van Gaal to not sell Chicharito but send him out on loan and in the "worst" case scenario he would come back and could be sold then.

Fast forward to present day

Chicharito made his first appearance against Newcastle, coming off the bench to fulfil his legacy of being the second coming of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He missed a sitter in that game and although he had been at Madrid all last season, he wasn't a regular starter but he did score a stunner on his debut and his goals were very meaningful toward the end of last season for Madrid.

Louis Van Gaal does not think that Chicharito is good enough for Manchester United, I believe he was brought on as a sub on merit to get some match fitness and to also prove a point against a tiring weakened opposition. Needless to say, he missed a sitter from a header, his first touch was sloppy, he missed a penalty (hence the stare) and he then missed an open net. The stare at Ryan Giggs was merely saying, "lishten Ryan, your input ish valuable but in thish inshtance he ishn't good enough for my "Philoshophy"".

I would be very, very suprised if Chicharito remains at Man United after September the 3rd. He will more than likely be a Saido Berahino replacement, providing that transfer goes through.

Harsh words on the little pea but David Moyes ruined the player that Chicharito was. I remember the lad running through on goal against a top Chelsea team and slotting it in at Stamford Bridge. Where is that Javier Hernandez?

P.S. Remember the semi-final of the League Cup under the Moyes reign, that is the Chicharito we have now!

    1. I am hoping for the sake of the player and the team that he will be able to come good again. At his best he is an unplayable, fast quick reactioned goal poacher that can finish his dinner.
